• Please pray for our beloved minister, Pastor Don Baker and his wife Barbara (she is a dear friend and a great blessing to anyone who knows them). Pastor Baker is the most Christlike person I ever met, he really cares about people and shared Christ, I know he shared Christ w/ me when I went through difficult times. He had a real burden for the young people. I remember in church, young children running to him and he would scoop them in his arms and they would tell him the events of their lives, he really shined for Jesus. He was also the Penn. Conf Youth Director for many years, when I was on staff at camp, he baptized me at Laurel Lake, his ministry was a blessing to many. Pastor Baker was diagnosed w/ Gliablastoma brain tumor last June and he is not doing well. He hasn't been able to walk since Christmas. 4 wks ago Hospice said it wouldn't be long, and he has lost his vision or lost most of his vision and is now in a lot of pain, but he has never complained about any of this since the diagnosis, he just said "give it to the Lord." Last week his daughter shared that he gave prayer several nights in a row for family worship and sang hymns of praise. Please lift this wonderful family in prayer, they are dear to my heart.
